3 cups blueberries

2 tbsp. water

1 tbsp. pure lemon juice

1/3 cup amber maple syrup (no 2, grade c)

2 tbsp. organic golden cane sugar

Combine the Ingredients
• Combine 1 cup blueberries, lemon juice, sugar, water, and maple syrup in a sauce pan on medium heat.
• Cook until some of the blueberries burst, about 10 minutes. Stir ocassionally.}

Add the Remaining Blueberries
• Add the remaining blueberries and cook until compote reaches desired consistency. Stir frequently.

Bring It All Together
• Serve it warm on top of oatmeal or ice cream!
