
Enjoy these delicious plant-based bites on their own, with Sticky Sauce, with Kicky Sauce, or try all three!
Ingredients
1 cup flour, white unbleached all purpose
1 cup nut milk, almond unsweetened
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp paprikaâ - splendor garden 40g
3 Tbsp tamari (golden)
1/4 cup maple syrup, dark
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar, raw
1/2 cup water
1 tsp cornstarch, organic
3 Tbsp sesame seeds
1 whole peppers, jalapeno
3 cups bread crumbs, mixed grain
1/2 teaspoon organic onion powder, fresh city jar
1/2 teaspoon organic garlic powder, fresh city jar

1 whole cauliflower
3 cups bread crumbs
Batter:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetend almond milk (or milk of your choice)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Sticky Sauce:
3 Tbsp soy sauce, tamari or coconut aminos
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp tapioca starch (you can subtitute corn starch, but double the amount)
Garnish:
3 Tbsp sesame seeds
1 stalk scallions
Kicky Sauce:
1 cup Koslicks Rib B Q BBQ Sauce
2 Tbsp Sriracha (or your favourite hot sauce)
Optional garnish:
1 whole hot pepper
Directions
To prepare the breaded cauliflower:
1. Preheat oven to 425F
2. Prepare cauliflower by removing florets and cutting them to bite size pieces
3. Add dry batter ingredients to large bowl and whisk to combine, adjusting seasoning to your taste.
4. Pour one cup of unsweetened non-dairy milk to the dry mix and whisk until smooth.
5. Add cauliflower florets to the batter and stir to coat each piece evenly.
6. Pour Panko into small bowl, dipping and coating cauliflower florets individually.
7. Place on baking sheet (please note: as long as each piece of cauliflower is well coated with Panko, the baking sheet does not need parchment or oil).
8. Bake for 15 minutes, remove from oven and turn each piece over with tongs. Return to oven and bake for another 30 minutes.
9. Serve as is with dip of your choice or coat baked cauliflower in sauce and return to the oven for 2-3 minutes to bake in the flavour.
To prepare the Sticky Sauce:
1. Mix soy sauce, maple syrup, vinegar, water and sesame oil in small pot.
2. Cook over medium heat until bubbles form.
3. Whisk in tapioca starch while pot is over heat, whisking until sauce thickens slightly and looks glossy.
4. Serve as dip or pour over baked breaded cauliflower and toss to coat.
5. Garnish with sesame seeds and trimmed and sliced scallion.
To prepare the Kicky Sauce:
1. Mix BBQ Sauce and Sriracha, adjusting to your desired heat level.
2. Serve as dip for Breaded Baked Cauliflower or pour over cauliflower, toss to coat and bake an additional 2-3 minutes to bake in the flavour.
3. Garnish with a peeled, seeded and chopped hot pepper.
