Asian Slaw d'Ontario
Make the most of your bag this week and try this easy slaw made with ingredients grown close to home! Add some Ontario apples for an extra dose of local food, and a crisp, refreshing taste.
1 fire roasted red peppers
1 cup rice vinegar
3 tablespoons agave or honey
2 tablespoons soy or tamari sauce
1 teaspoon unrefined sesame oil
0 juice of one lemon and one limeShop this recipe
1. Finely slice, grate, or put in food processor with slicing blade: Carrots, purple or green cabbage, red pepper
2. Switch to the grating blade and add: bunch Fresh mint, bunch Fresh cilantr, peeled Fresh ginger.
3. Mix Dressing: rice vinegar, agave or honey, juice of one lemon and one lime, soy or tamari sauce, salt (optional, to taste), sesame oil
4. Toss chopped veggies in dressing and enjoy for up to two days!
