Tomato, tomatoe. Although organic tomatoes are actually a fruit, they are more commonly used in cooking with other vegetables. A key ingredient in a plethora of dishes; from soups and sauces to tarts and salads. In the spring and summer, nothing beats the fresh taste combination of basil, mozzarella and an organic tomato. Slightly less juicy than field or hot house tomatoes, organic vine tomatoes are great in sauces, as pizza toppings, on bruschetta and in salads.
They should be stored away from sunlight at a cool room temperature, but not in the fridge.
