Can you guess where this fuzzy fruit got its name? Despite being named after the New Zealand kiwi bird, the fruit actually originated in Northern China. Organic kiwi are rich in taste and have more vitamin C than an orange! While most remove the furry skin, it is edible (give it a try!). Firm organic kiwi ripen after a few days when stored at room temperature - but keep them away from direct sunlight. Organic kiwi are very sensitive to ethylene gas, therefore to ripen quickly you can place them in a paper bag with an apple, pear or banana. To prevent ripening, store away from other fruits.
