HOPE hens are slower to lay eggs in the colder months, so please note that HOPE eggs may be substituted with Yorkshire (please see product information here) in the winter.
Small Flock's Delight eggs come from a cooperative of Amish farmers located in Aylmer, Ontario. They raise hens in small flocks (as the name suggests) of 100 to 500 birds in tents on pasture. In summer, movable shelters are always kept on fresh grass and in winter dried legumes provide lots of loose litter for hens to play and scratch in. These happy hens eat grass or organic GMO-free grain and veggie scraps, with full access to nest boxes or perches.
Ingredients: Chicken Eggs.
