Plain Chèvre is Mariposa Dairy's classic goat’s milk cheese that is bright white and slightly acidic. Chèvre is bright white because goat milk lacks the beta carotene that gives other milks their buttery yellow colour. Each log is vacuum packed to lock in freshness and extend shelf life.
Ingredients: Pasteurized goat milk, bacterial culture, salt, microbial enzyme.

Located near Lindsay, Ontario in the City of Kawartha Lakes, Mariposa Dairy's mission is to produce high quality goat and sheep cheese using 100% Ontario fresh goat and sheep milk. It is owned and operated by Bruce and Sharon Vandenberg. The milk that is used to make their fine cheeses comes from their many Alpine, Saanen, and Toggenburg dairy goats and British milking sheep.
Their aim is to keep their goats and sheep healthy with a well balanced diet. Their goats and sheep are fed pellets made under the strictest quality controls by a HACCP approved plant using all vegetable based ingredients. The pellets are supplemented with free choice straw or hay, grown by Lenberg Farms.
