  • How does Fresh City's local organic produce and grocery delivery work?

    Sign up to get a Produce, Recipe or Lunch Bag, eat well.

  • Can I add grocery items to my bag?

    Yes, absolutely.

  • Can I make substitutions and customize my bag?

    Sure thing. Customization is always free. 

  • Can I upgrade to a larger bag or downgrade to a smaller one?

    Yes! 

  • Do I need to become a member to order food? 

    Yes.

  • What is the commitment for joining?

    No commitment!

  • When does my bag get delivered?

    On the same day each week or every other week (your choice).

  • Where do you deliver? 

    Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Oakville and parts of Markham and Vaughan.

  • Do you deliver to apartment buildings or condos?

    Of course!

  • Can I pick up my Fresh City bag?

    Absolutely. Skip the delivery fee! 

  • Is Fresh City a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program?

    Our roots stem from the CSA model.

  • How does payment work?

    Your credit card is charged on the day before delivery.

  • Can I skip deliveries? 

    Of course. 

  • Does Fresh City have a farm?

    Yes, in Toronto's Downsview Park. 

  • Is all your produce certified organic?

    All of our produce is grown organically. 

  • Is all your produce local?

    We source locally first and foremost.

  • How does Fresh City select the makers we source from?

    We consider lots of factors, but quality and taste always come first. 

  • What if I'm not home when you deliver?

    You don't have to be home to accept delivery.

  • How do I cancel?

  • Should I return my bags, bottles and jars?

    Glad you asked. Yes, please return them with the packing slip attached! But make sure they're clean first.

  • Why can't I pick a specific delivery time?

    We maximize our routes to minimize our environmental impact and the cost to you.

  • What's in a bag?

    What's fresh and in season!

  • Should I wash the produce that arrives in my bag?

    Yes.

  • What if I'm missing an item or I'm not happy with something in my bag?

    Mistakes happen, but you shouldn't have to pay for them!

  • What happens on hot, sunny days? Or cold days?

    We've got it covered.

  • I received a Fresh City gift card! What do I do now?

  • Where does your meat and fish come from?

    Local farms that care about the environment and animal welfare.

  • Your Recipe Bag packaging seems wasteful, no?

    We only source 100% biodegradable packaging and reuse our tote bags, cooler bags and ice packs.
