Our belief in providing a better life through food means bringing together a diverse community where people of varying gender, age, race, ethnicity, cultural background, sexual orientation, religion, languages, education, and abilities work together to create positive change for all.
Mabel's Pride Sugar Cookie
As Pride Month kicks off this year, we are showing our support of the 2SLGBTQ+ community by donating to The 519. For the duration of the month of June, we will be donating $1 from the sales of our Rainbow Salad and Sunshine Salad both online and in-store, as well as $1 from the sales of our Pride-themed Mabel's sugar cookies, which are available at all of our Mabel's, Fresh City and Healthy Butcher store locations.
The 519 is a Toronto-based organization dedicated to advocacy for the inclusion of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. From refugee settlement to counselling, The 519 serves the people of Toronto with a range of services, programs, and initiatives to support the community. We were able to donate almost $3000 last year and hope to surpass that amount this year.
