Spring is full of all sorts of green veggies bursting forth from the ground - one of our faves? Green garlic! For those new to this spring veggie (sometimes known as 'spring garlic'), it is quite simply the younger version of the white, clustered garlic we are used to seeing. The entire plant is edible and has a milder garlicky flavour (surprise, surprise!) You can use it similarly to how you use regular garlic or green onions. To store, keep it in a plastic bag in the fridge, and use it within a week or so. Or just eat it right away like us. Click here for four simple and delicious spring recipes using green garlic!
