The Book of Genesis (of an Urban Garden)
001.001 In the beginning there was sod and dirt.
001.002 And the earth was without form, and void: and hunger was upon the seekers of fresh organic produce. And the spirit of Phil moved upon the face of the lawn.
001.003 And Phil said, Let there be manure: and there was manure.
001.004 And Phil saw the manure, and it was good: and Phil tilled the manure into the dirt.
001.005 And Phil called the dirt soil, and the manure he called nutrients. And the soil and the nutrients were the first steps in creating an urban garden.
001.006 And Phil installed some rain barrels, and collected the waters that fell from the roof nutrients were the first steps in creating an urban garden.
001.007 And Phil used the waters collected in the barrels to water the gardens. And it was so.
001.008 And Phil called the water harvesting sustainable.
001.009 And Phil said, Let the waters under the soil be used by the roots, and the water on the land by the seeds. And it was so.
001.010 And Phil called the combination of plants and seeds a succession intercrop. And Phil saw that it was good.
